For sometime now, I have been following a blog called Cold Rockin. Filled with an endless reference library that I often visit for ideas, or just to see some amazing imagery. I eventually reached out to Cold Rockin founder Nick Smith, and asked if he had some images of his own that he might like to share for a Photographer feature on the blog. He seemed down, and sent over a selection of images for me to pick and choose from. I am usually not one to look to deep into an image for some meaning, but there is something very pleasant and relaxing about Nick’s photographs. There is no tension, no intense colors, nothing to abstract or confusing. Its simply an image that you can look at and feel a calming sensation, weight taken of your shoulders, or even the feeling of taking that deep breath.
